Mitch Tolcon is a Principal at Forbes Kirby, where he conducts a broad practice encompassing general litigation, commercial law and succession planning. He was a founding member of the firm and was promoted to equity partner following completion of his restricted practice. Mitch takes a particular interest in developing strong, long term relationships with significant individuals and SMEs, where he can leverage his broad experience across litigation, commercial law and succession planning to assist clients in achieving their vision. He takes a practical, commercially minded approach to problem solving, whether that means resolving a dispute, structuring a transaction, or planning for succession, and is known for staying closely involved with clients as their circumstances and needs evolve. Clients value him as a trusted advisor they can rely on for the long term. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2016 and the High Court of Australia in 2023.
Huan Vu is a Principal at Forbes Kirby, where he conducts a broad practice in general litigation and corporate and commercial law, and has worked on various inquiries and reviews into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations and charitable trusts. A founding member of the firm, he was promoted to equity partner after completing his restricted practice.Huan regularly gives strategic insight and advice to boards and executives in private and public companies. Clients value his practical, commercial and thorough approach to solving complex and challenging problems, as well as his strong commitment to working together as a team.Huan is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia. He also contributes to legal education as a sessional academic at Curtin University's Law School, having guest lectured and tutored in the civil procedure and evidence law units for the Bachelor of Laws, and in the civil litigation unit for the Practical Legal Training course.
Daniel Weston is Chief of Staff and Company Secretary at Forbes Kirby, where his role spans finance, HR, IT, operations, and governance. He brings more than two decades of experience in financial and executive leadership across FMCG, media, and professional services in Australia and New Zealand, with a background spanning financial planning and analysis, commercial strategy, business and process improvement, and cross-functional leadership. He leads with a practical, people first approach, valuing clear communication and consistency over hierarchy, and plays a central role in shaping the firm's broader strategy and growth, with a consistent focus on helping the firm operate more efficiently and make better decisions. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a CIMA qualification, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He currently serves as Treasurer and Non-Executive Director for Co3 Contemporary Dance, reflecting his broader interest in governance and organisational strategy.
Emma Truffet is a Solicitor at Forbes Kirby. She joined the firm in 2020 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2023. Emma has extensive experience in civil litigation, advising on commercial, contractual, shareholder and employment disputes, as well as matters involving trusts, misappropriation of funds, fraud, directors' duties and judicial review. She has instructed Counsel and appeared for clients across a range of Western Australian and interstate courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Fair Work Commission. Emma has a particular interest in governance matters affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, and has instructed independent Counsel in a number of related inquiries and reviews. She also contributes to legal education as a sessional academic at Curtin University, lecturing and tutoring in civil procedure, evidence law and civil litigation.
Dila Pathmarajah is an Associate in the Corporate & Commercial team at Forbes Kirby, where she advises clients on a range of commercial and corporate matters. She brings experience gained through several years in private practice, providing practical and commercially focused advice to businesses across a variety of industries. Dila has particular experience and interest in corporate transactions, commercial contracting, business structuring, governance matters, and general business advisory issues. Her broad commercial perspective enables her to assist clients in navigating complex legal and regulatory challenges while supporting their strategic and operational objectives, and she enjoys working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver strategic legal solutions that support their long-term success. Dila is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Nieve Hope is a Solicitor at Forbes Kirby, practising in civil litigation and commercial disputes. She joined Forbes Kirby and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2023. Nieve advises individual and corporate clients on a broad range of matters, including commercial and contractual disputes, deceased estate litigation, trusts and equity, building and construction disputes, employment matters, insolvency, director disputes, and competition and consumer law. She has instructed Counsel and appeared for clients across a range of Western Australian, federal and interstate courts and tribunals. She has particular experience and interest in assisting executors, administrators and beneficiaries in contested deceased estate matters, providing guidance at every stage of the dispute resolution process to achieve practical outcomes for her clients, both in and out of court.
Erica Chu is a Solicitor at Forbes Kirby. She has been working in the legal profession since 2023, with a background in estate planning and family law, and joined Forbes Kirby in 2025. Erica was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2024 and the High Court of Australia in 2025. Erica acts in matters relating to deceased estates, family provision claims, applications for probate and letters of administration, guardianship, bankruptcy and commercial disputes, appearing for clients across a range of Western Australian and interstate courts and tribunals. Erica has particular experience helping clients resolve deceased estate disputes outside of the court process, including through Deeds of Family Arrangement, as well as advising on estate planning, wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring powers of guardianship.
Leslie Seigneur is the Strategic Relationships Manager at Forbes Kirby, where she works closely with clients, advisers and the firm's lawyers to connect people with the firm's expertise across commercial law, disputes, transactions and private client matters. She brings a background in workforce planning, operational delivery, technology and business analysis, having held roles with Apple, LVMH, and within logistics and consulting businesses. Leslie holds an MBA in Luxury Brand Management from Bordeaux, together with degrees in Business Law from Perth, and Law. She has a strong interest in commercial and legal matters, particularly those affecting businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients, and enjoys supporting the firm's lawyers through legal research and the preparation of client advice. Passionate about building trusted relationships, Leslie is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience while contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Mariacaterina Massaro is the Practice Manager at Forbes Kirby, where she combines strong organisational skills with a people focused approach to support the smooth day to day running of the practice, and serves as the senior point of contact for the administration team. Originally from Italy, she graduated with a Law degree before relocating to Perth in 2019, where she built a career in early childhood education before discovering her passion for administration and operations while acting as Centre Manager. She joined Forbes Kirby as an Administrative Assistant and progressed to her current role as Practice Manager, bringing the same people-first approach to the practice that defined her earlier career.
Mitchell Jones is a Law Graduate at Forbes Kirby and is awaiting admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Raised on a family farm in Bruce Rock, a small Wheatbelt town, Mitchell developed a strong work ethic, practical approach to problem-solving, and an ability to build genuine relationships with people from all walks of life. Those values continue to shape the way he approaches legal practice and client service. Mitchell assists across a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on litigation. He is committed to providing practical, client-focused advice, understanding each client's objectives, and achieving the best possible outcome. Whether resolving disputes or guiding clients through significant legal decisions, Mitchell enjoys the challenge of advocating for his clients and delivering results.
Delene Manuel is a Legal Graduate and a valued member of the Forbes Kirby Litigation team. She graduated from Curtin University in December 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws and is currently completing her Practical Legal Training as she works towards admission as a lawyer. Prior to joining the firm, Delene spent four years working in family law, where she gained valuable experience supporting clients through what were often challenging and emotional circumstances. It was during this time that she developed a passion for the law and a desire to build a career helping people navigate complex legal issues with confidence and clarity. Delene is committed to providing practical, client-focused legal support that helps clients achieve positive outcomes, and to continually developing her legal knowledge as she grows her career in litigation.
Grace Vague is a Paralegal at Forbes Kirby, working within the commercial and wills and estate planning team. She brings over two years of experience in the legal industry, having commenced her career as a receptionist before progressing to legal assistant and then paralegal. Throughout her career, Grace has gained experience across a range of practice areas, developing strong skills in client communication, file management, document preparation, and legal administration. She is currently studying towards a Diploma of Paralegal Services, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development. Grace is committed to providing professional and efficient support to clients and colleagues and is known for her proactive approach.
Nicole Moshkovitz is a Legal Secretary at Forbes Kirby, where she assists the firm's litigation team across a broad range of matters. With more than four years of experience in the legal industry, she supports solicitors throughout the litigation process, helping to manage matters efficiently and deliver practical outcomes for clients. Nicole has developed experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management with a strong focus on providing organised and reliable support. She has a particular interest in litigation and enjoys working on complex legal matters that require careful analysis, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Laws (LLM), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Practice from the United Kingdom and is committed to continuing her professional development and expanding her expertise in litigation.
Lorena Sansone is a Law Clerk at Forbes Kirby, having joined the firm as Receptionist and Executive Assistant before progressing into her new role. Her friendly and approachable manner has helped every client feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door, and that same warmth continues to shape how she works with clients and colleagues alike. A 2025 high school graduate, Lorena is undertaking studies towards a career in law, bringing genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional growth. She also plans and coordinates Forbes Kirby's events, bringing the same creativity, attention to detail, and organisational skill to that work as she does to her legal career.
